Finding partners who provide the right balance of experience and innovation can be all too difficult these days. Identifying and bringing together like-minded, forward thinking people and companies and bringing in-depth knowledge into complex projects is vital to produce meaningful results. At EV2AV, we offer the perfect mix providing expertise and delivering value on projects addressing the broad range of issues facing business today.
EV2AV’s founder Ian Allen, has extensive experience in the automotive industry on an array of subjects from launching electric vehicles to influencing policy, developing corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy to complex problem solving. He brings a wealth of knowledge not only from working for General Motors (GM) in the UK, Europe and America, but also playing a leading role in the industry through work with the industry trade body the SMMT (Society of Motors Manufacturers and Traders) as Chair of both the Electric Vehicle (EV) Committee and Environmental Policy Committee (EPC).
Whilst Ian’s experience lies mainly within the automotive industry, the varied roles held within GM, Opel and Vauxhall means he is ideally suited to working on a range of projects across the whole spectrum of business at all levels, either with a single company or collaboratively with organisations from different sectors.
Ian holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing Certificate and Diploma and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from North Staffordshire Business School. He is a keen footballer, cyclist and swimmer, plays guitar (badly) and likes to try out new recipes on his wife and kids.
